  • We employ more than 130 Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedics
  • We have six response stations from which we serve the municipalities of Northumberland
  • We have a fleet of 14 ambulances, five emergency response vehicles and a community support vehicle

Ambulance bases

Response stations are located strategically throughout the county to provide quick responses to emergency calls. Please note that paramedics may not always be at the station — always call 911 in an emergency.

Careers with Northumberland Paramedics

Northumberland Paramedics are certified as either Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) or Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP). PCPs have received at least two years of college education, along with continuing medical education four times per year. Advanced Care Paramedics have received the foundational two years of college education, as well as at least one additional year of specialized education, and attend continuing education sessions four times per year.
